Fire Towers: Still Protecting the Mo., Ozarks, After 75 Years

 For many Missourians the state’s fire towers have become a forgotten piece of history. As the population has grown, and as technology has improved, the majority of the towers have become obsolete -- with the exception of a select few still being used during months of high fire danger.
